dreams of reality inverted

the reality of the moment
became
something from a dream

close eyes
to awaken
lock arms
to embrace
forever in
seconds
infinity in
minutes
the harmonies of yesterdays
blending
with the melodies of tomorrows
giving birth to the song
sprung forth from my lips
upon mornings tender first light.
